Position: Diesel Mechanic

Qualified diesel mechanic to join our team in Katherine. Preferably experienced in bus & coach repairs but not essential. To be able to work unsupervised and as a team.
Duties include but not limited too:
-Daily check over of vehicles between runs
-regular servicing of fleet
-all other mechanical repairs when required

Darwin or Katherine Based

Position: Driver

Heavy Rigid license preferred with ‘h’ endorsement to carry passengers. Bus and coach driving on route services and charters across most of the Top End. Casual hours available from single days up to full-time equivalent.

Darwin Based

Position: Bookings Officer 

The role involves taking phone bookings from our customers travelling between remote towns and communities and to and from Katherine and Darwin.

We are looking for long term employees – This position is not suitable for people on working visas or seeking short term employment. Part time and Full-time options may be available after a successful trial period.

 We can provide some flexibility of shifts/hours, including school hours for parents looking to return to the workforce.  

ESSENTIAL

  •     Friendly with a can-do attitude.
  •     Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  •     Willing to learn and contribute to creating a happy well performing team.
  •     Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  •     Customer focused with great phone communication skills.
  •     Good Computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.

The following will be an advantage but not essential:

  •       Experience working/living in Remote NT
  •       Knowledge of Top End Roads and its Communities
  •       Experience using Takeflite booking system or other similar booking systems.
  •       Experience working in a similar role.
